Okay... So I have been really lame these last few months (well, since Christmas) in posting anything new. My life is super busy and we have had a lot going on. For starters, soon after Christmas, we were told that Byron would have to deploy to Iraq. We were given hardly any notice and he was suppose to leave in a month. This news came as a big shock for us, as we were planning on separating from the military this year and didn't think we would have to deploy ever again.
Well, as the month approached, they changed his orders to go to Afghanistan. As the next deployment date came closer, they changed the date he was suppose to leave again! To make a long story short, we were in limbo for a while, but full of anxiety.
So now it has been almost two months, since Byron deployed to Afghanistan. There have been some rough and crazy days without him. One week I had to go to the hospital 4 times ... strep throat, pnemonia, injured finger, x-rays, etc. We are doing great though. Byron is doing well too.
I'm trying to get together all of our photos ready to post soon. So stay tuned ...
